Global Neuro & Spine Institute – “Relieve Pain, Restore Life”

Global Neuro and Spine Institute is seeking two full-time Medical Assistant / C-Arm Technologists to support our interventional spine and neurology providers. This role requires travel between our Atlantis and Plantation locations and hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Location: Atlantis & Plantation (Travel Required)
Schedule: Full-Time (2 Openings)

We are seeking two motivated and detail-oriented full-time Medical Assistant / C-Arm Technologists to support our interventional spine and neurology providers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment with travel between our Atlantis and Plantation locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures, including operating C-Arm imaging equipment
  • Prepare and maintain clinical areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for procedures
  • Support patient care by taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient check-in/out, and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Ensure proper functioning and safety of C-Arm equipment and other clinical tools
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and privacy regulations, including HIPAA compliance
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited college or vocational institution.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant.
  • eCW experience preferred.
  • Required to pass a Level II background screening.

Performance Requirements:

  • Knowledge of health care field and medical office protocols/procedures.
  • Knowledge of specific assisting tasks related to particular medical practice.
  • Knowledge of information that must be conveyed to patients and families.
  • Skill in performing medical assistance tasks appropriately.
  • Skill in tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions.
  • Skill in understanding patient education needs by effectively sharing information with patients and families.
  • Ability to project a pleasant and professional image.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.
