Complex Claims Analyst at Riverstone Resources – Remote

Asbestos, Pollution & Other Latent Liabilities

(Hybrid within 60 miles of Manchester, NH or Garden City, NY, otherwise fully remote)

We’re looking for an experienced Claims Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of asbestos, pollution, and other latent liability claims. In this role, you’ll handle claims involving primary, umbrella, and excess coverage, partner closely with defense counsel and internal teams, and help drive effective, well-reasoned claim resolutions.

• Manage a moderate to high volume of asbestos, pollution, and latent liability claims
• Review loss notices, interpret policy coverage, and establish appropriate reserves
• Coordinate defense counsel, expert witnesses, and peer carriers
• Evaluate liability and damages; support litigation strategy and settlement negotiations
• Maintain accurate diaries, reserves, and claim documentation
• Collaborate with the Reinsurance team on reporting and recovery efforts
• Support due diligence requests and travel as needed
• Maintain required adjuster licenses

• 3–5 years of claims handling experience or related background
• Strong knowledge of coverage analysis, litigation management, and reserving
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Preferred: JD, CPCU, SCLA, or CCLA
