SE Squared Workforce (SE²), the parent company of Summit Energy Group (SEG) and Sync Energy Services (Sync), supports the development, construction, commissioning, and recovery of critical renewable generation and transmission infrastructure nationwide. SE² is executing a 2026 AI Infusion & Empowerment Strategic Initiative focused on responsibly applying AI to real business workflows to reduce manual effort, improve execution quality, and scale operations without burnout. We are seeking a Part-time AI Implementation Specialist to design, build, and stabilize AI enabled workflows across SE² and its operating companies. This is a hands-on, builder first role embedded in live operations, not a research or sandbox position.

This role offers direct exposure to executive leadership and hands-on experience applying AI to real finance, operations, HR, and leadership workflows. Candidates will gain practical experience with Microsoft Copilot and enterprise automation, along with insight into how AI is governed and responsibly scaled within a national organization. The work produced in this role is resume ready, defensible, and tied to real business outcomes.

Company Corporate Office - Belgrade, MT (Hybrid)

Pay:

DOE $22–$32 per hour (hourly, non-exempt)
Hours:

This is a part-time role averaging approximately 5–10 hours per week with flexible scheduling. The position requires at least one in person meeting per week in the Corporate office and one additional weekly virtual meeting. Build time outside of meetings is flexible, with some overlap with normal business hours expected.

Requirements:

Preferred Background:

Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, scripting, APIs, or data driven workflows. Familiarity with documentation standards, workflow design, and basic change management discipline is helpful, particularly in environments where solutions must be clearly documented, repeatable, and governed for long-term use.

Required Skillsets:
• Background in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
• Comfort working hands-on in Microsoft environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about how businesses operate
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users

• Exposure to process improvement initiatives or operations focused systems.

Role Scope and Boundaries:

This role is hands-on and implementation- focused, embedded directly in real business operations, and governed with a human- in the- loop, quality- first approach. It is not an academic or research-oriented- AI role, a fully autonomous systems position, or a full-time engineering role.

Job Responsibilities:

AI & Automation Implementation
• Build AI-assisted workflows using Microsoft Copilot (M365), Copilot Studio, and Power Automate
• Help refine and stabilize AI workflows already in production use

Business Workflow Enablement
• Support AI-enabled improvements across finance, operations, HR, onboarding, compliance, and leadership reporting
• Assist with weekly, quarterly, and executive-level summaries and presentations
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand how work is actually performed today

API & System Connections (Assisted)
• Assist with API-based or data-connection workflows (accounting, payroll, banking, portals) under direction
• Help identify opportunities to incrementally reduce manual effort through system integration

Pattern Recognition & Reuse
• Identify repeated manual tasks and help convert them into documented, reusable AI-enabled processes
• Clearly document workflows, assumptions, limitations, and governance considerations

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Requires extended periods of sitting or standing, with occasional kneeling, bending, or reaching.

· Must be physically capable of walking on the jobsite on varied, uneven terrain and/or varied temperatures and weather elements.

· Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring and/or tape.

· Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to site safety protocols.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle to perform work-related tasks.
