Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) at Riverwood Healthcare Center – Aitkin, Minnesota

About the Position:

Administer prescribed treatments and personal care services within the scope of the RN license, ensuring compliance with established clinical guidelines and standards. Responsible for providing expert care to complex patients in emergencies or critical care settings. This includes triaging patients, assisting in advanced procedures, monitoring subtle changes in condition, and responding promptly to ensure optimal outcomes. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team, communicates effectively with patients and families, and maintains current certifications to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.

This position in the ED is every other weekend, Friday through Sunday, varied day and night shifts.

What we are looking for:

• Current RN License or work permit from the Minnesota State Board of Nursing.
• Active and unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
• Current CALS and TNCC (or ability to certify within one year of hire).
• Either ENPC or PALS (or ability to certify within one year of hire).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department (ED) is preferred.
