This role is a high-impact opportunity to own a core financial product area within a leading B2B SaaS platform. You will be responsible for shaping the end-to-end document lifecycle that powers project financials, from estimates and purchase orders to invoicing and payments. Acting at the intersection of product strategy, financial systems, and user experience, you will define how professionals manage cash flow, profitability, and job costing at scale. You will work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional product teams to build a unified and reliable financial data model. - Own the end-to-end product strategy for the financial document lifecycle, from estimates and bids to invoices, change orders, and payments.
- Define and evolve workflows that enable accurate job costing, profitability tracking, and real-time financial insights for users.
- Ensure financial data integrity, auditability, and compliance with US accounting standards and reconciliation requirements.
- Collaborate with accounting, reporting, and payments teams to build a unified financial data model and insights layer.
- Lead cross-functional execution by writing PRDs, managing backlogs, and driving sprint planning for high-impact initiatives.
- Partner with design and engineering teams to translate complex financial processes into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- Define and track key product KPIs such as time-to-invoice, payment adoption, and financial accuracy metrics.
- Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to gather insights and continuously refine product direction.
- Manage tax, compliance, and invoicing logic related to US financial regulations and sales tax requirements.
- 3–5+ years of Product Management experience in complex B2B SaaS environments.
- Strong domain knowledge of US accounting principles or financial systems is highly required.
- Experience in fintech, construction finance, invoicing, AP/AR, payroll, or similar financial products is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, system design, and ensuring a single source of truth for financial data.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in highly matrixed environments (engineering, design, data, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with experience using product analytics to drive decisions and optimize workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
- Comfort working in global environments with potential overlap with US time zones.
- Nice to have: experience with ERP integrations (QuickBooks, Xero) or exposure to construction/design industries.
