Staff Accountant at LDI Mechanical Inc – Corona, California

LDI Mechanical, Inc. is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and period-end closings. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of confidentiality, must have strong analytical skills, have a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to accuracy. This individual must be able to display strong organizational skills, manage time well and present honesty and integrity within this role.

Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP

Conduct daily and monthly cash flow reviews and monitor variances

Maintain and update records of taxes, liabilities, assets, and other financial data

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals

Coordinate and process quarterly on-site inventory counts

Reconcile monthly bank statements

Assist in the preparation and tracking of budgets and forecasts

Prepare and file sales and use tax returns

Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts

Assist with audits, reporting, and other finance-related projects as needed

Prepare and update various spreadsheets

Assist and cross train with payroll duties as needed

Assist with other accounting projects as assigned

Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and work independently

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Familiarity with accounting software a plus

Minimum 2 years’ experience
