Position Summary:
We are seeking a Full-Time Personal Care Aide (PCA Certified) for 1st Shift to support residents in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. The ideal candidate will assist residents with activities of daily living, promote comfort and safety, and support their independence in a respectful and professional manner. Experience or interest in dementia and memory care is highly preferred.
Schedule:
• Full Time
• 1st Shift (Day Shift)
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement
• Support residents living with dementia using patience, redirection, and person-centered care
• Document and report resident care, behaviors, and needs to supervisors
• Ensure a safe, clean, and structured environment
• Respond promptly to resident requests and needs
• Work collaboratively with staff to provide quality care

Qualifications:
• Current New York State PCA Certification (required)
• Previous caregiving, healthcare, or memory care/dementia care experience preferred
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to meet physical demands of the role (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs)
