Rate: $125k – $150k depending on qualifications

Summary:

Our esteemed law office is currently seeking a seasoned Family Law Associate Attorney to join our hybrid/remote team based in Fayetteville, GA, USA. This opening offers the chosen candidate the chance to benefit from the wisdom and proficiency of our seasoned team members. Responsibilities on a day-to-day basis will involve offering legal advice to clients, conducting legal research, creating and preparing legal documents, representing clients in court, and ensuring all client records are current. Expectations:

As a Family Law Associate Attorney, you will conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of other attorneysPrepare and/or edit legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedingsEnjoy working for and with people of diverse ethnic, racial, and religious backgroundsConduct client case assessmentsAssist clients in determining the proper solutions to legal conflicts and determine the best course of actionRepresent clients in court appearancesSupervise paralegal staffKeep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staffCollaborate with clients, senior associates, and other staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution Learn and follow firm policies and proceduresMeet monthly billable hour requirements

Skills:

• Must have a Georgia bar license in good standing
• At least 5 years of practicing as an attorney in Georgia family law is required; probate experience is a plus
Experience using MyCase, Clio Manage, Adobe, Peach Court, MS Suite is required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required to work with all levels of clients, staff members, and other attorneys

• Able to work through a case from open to close
