Position Summary
Zachry Construction is seeking a Structures Foreman to lead and manage a crew responsible for constructing various cast-in-place and prefabricated concrete structures on heavy civil projects.
The Structures Foreman is responsible for meeting production goals, tracking material quantities, maintaining cost control, and ensuring work is performed safely and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to manage daily field operations effectively.
What You'll Do
- Plan and direct crew activities to achieve production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and cost reports to track progress and resolve material discrepancies.
- Supervise construction of structural concrete elements including foundations, columns, caps, decks, and flatwork.
- Direct forming, pouring, and finishing operations using systems such as EFCO, Doka, and wood forms.
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel to execute work plans efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and guide crew members in safe work practices, production techniques, and proper equipment use.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and equipment logs.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and promote a culture of safety through toolbox talks and regular inspections.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on concrete structures.
- Proven supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of concrete types, rebar, forming systems, and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with crane and rigging principles, concrete testing, and pour rate management.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and task-oriented leader.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions up to 90% of the time.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work on uneven terrain.
- Experience with Mobile Timecard or similar systems preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Must be licensed and approved to operate a company vehicle.
- Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding and walk on uneven surfaces across active construction sites.
