About This Position

A. For academic/transfer courses and programs, an appropriate graduate degree in the subject area is required;
B. For vocational instructional programs, an undergraduate degree and/or appropriate certification(s) representing industry standards for employment in occupational/career is required.

Must possess excellent knowledge in appropriate teaching field(s) as well as exceptional communication/people skills.Adjunct faculty credentials are evaluated to ensure compliance with the Higher Learning Commissions Guidelines for Determining Qualified Faculty and detailed in the Faculty Qualifying Credentials document.
All adjuncts must meet these criteria and are paid at the rate of $660 per credit hour rate. Adjuncts teaching fully online classes receive an additional $150 per credit hour pay for the additional work/responsibilities required of quality online learning.

Seeking Adjunct Faculty members to instruct courses for the Scales Technology Certificate. Candidates will be asked to provide instruction on the proper installation, use, maintenance and certification of weighing and measuring devices. Successful candidates should have a background in a mechanical and/or electronics field. Experience with digital scales, including their installation, service and repair, in addition to two years of scale industry experience is preferred. Class schedules are flexible, but typically meet for 3 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Positions available on the Great Bend campus and in the Junction City area.
