This role handles the physical flow of trailers on the property — from receiving and inspection to staging, presentation, and delivery support. The Specialist ensures accurate inventory placement, professional lot appearance, and smooth coordination with sales and service teams.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in keeping the operation clean, efficient, and running smoothly.

- Verify models, colors, and options match delivery paperwork.
- Maintain an accurate lot map and update unit placement as inventory moves.
- Conduct regular VIN sweeps and weekly lot audits to ensure accuracy.
Lot Operations & Presentation
- Safely move, park, and stage trailers using forklifts and yard equipment.
- Maintain consistent spacing, alignment, and display standards across the lot.
- Install and maintain price signs, feature sheets, and promotional materials.
- Ensure the lot is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Trailer Preparation & Staging
- Perform basic checks such as lighting, tire pressure, straps, and safety chains.
- Stage trailers for customer pickup, test drives, and sales presentations.
- Photograph units as needed for inventory listings and promotional use.
Operational Support
- Assist the sales team by pulling and staging units quickly and safely.
- Coordinate with service personnel for units needing rework or inspection.
- Support light groundskeeping duties such as debris removal and general upkeep.
Safety & Equipment Care
- Operate forklifts, tractors, or yard vehicles safely and maintain certification.
- Keep equipment clean, fueled, and report functional issues promptly.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following company procedures and yard safety guidelines.
Performance Indicators
- Inventory accuracy: correct VIN and placement during weekly audits.
- Time-to-line readiness: newly received units ready for the lot within required timelines.
- Lot presentation quality: consistent spacing, signage, and cleanliness.
- Customer pickup readiness: staged units clean and complete before handoff.
- Safety compliance: zero avoidable yard or equipment incidents.
Qualifications
- Experience with forklifts or yard equipment preferred (training available).
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and handle physical, hands-on tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping things organized.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license required.
