Responsibilities:

• Formulate new dietary supplement products including tablets and capsules and enter formulations into SAP.
• Generate costing sheets for new formulas and enter data into Zoho.
• Create and maintain label copy including Supplement Facts panels for new formulas.
• Perform laboratory experiments for new and problematic materials and formulations.
• Test blend density to determine maximum capsule fill weight.
• Create pilot/sample batches to test feasibility and obtain customer approval.
• Source new raw materials and request technical documentation for materials not currently in inventory.
• Maintain raw material samples in the PD lab and initiate transfer orders as required.
• Collaborate with Sales and customers to understand product objectives and provide formulation recommendations.
• Evaluate new raw materials and assess performance in pilot batches.
• Participate in training and mentoring interns.
• Attend educational seminars, tradeshows, and technical trainings on a regular basis.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a Life Science or related field.
• 2-5 years of related experience in formulation.
• Direct experience with tableting, encapsulation, and/or blending (dietary supplement industry preferred).
• Experience generating Supplement Facts panels and cost estimates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with SAP and/or Zoho preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced technical environment.
