Cylinder Processor at Lampton Welding Supply – Wichita, Kansas

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Handle the responsibilities of the gas pump room including inspecting, moving, filling, and handling paperwork within standard operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fill cryogenic liquid gases to the specified weight
Move empty cylinders to filling scale.
Remove full liquid cylinders by cart, to loading area.
Check cylinders for leaks or need repairs.
Make sure all decals and markings are correct and legible for type of gas being filled
Keep shop areas clean and hazard free.
Assist with such other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and routinely push/pull up to 150 lbs. Must be able to roll cylinders with cart. Ability to perform work during prolonged standing, frequent bending & stooping. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS: Basic math skills required. Good written & verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.

WAGES: $17 - $19 based on industry experience

SIGN ON BONUS: $1000 signing bonus to be paid in two $500 increments. $500 at the completion of 90 days and the other $500 after six months of employment.

OVERTIME: Opportunities available for overtime hours, including Saturday hours, but it is not mandatory.
