We're hiring for a Temp-to-Hire Forklift Operator role—an amazing opportunity to get your foot in the door with a company known for stability, growth, and taking care of its people.
Hourly Rate: $24.77
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (occasional Saturdays as needed)
In this role, you’ll help bring JM’s core values to life by supporting daily warehouse operations, keeping things running smoothly, and contributing to a positive, safe work environment. If you’re dependable, team‑oriented, and enjoy hands-on work, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll Do
- Bring a strong safety mindset to work every day and get involved in plantwide initiatives
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Receive, store, pick, and distribute materials and products
- Keep orders accurate while meeting shipping and receiving timelines
- Maintain high standards for loading quality, housekeeping, and organization
- Maximize warehouse space and support FIFO and scrap‑reduction efforts
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and special projects
- Support all receiving and shipping functions as needed
What You Bring
- High School Diploma
- At least 1 year of warehouse/distribution experience
- Forklift experience required—sit‑down propane lift preferred
- Ability to load/unload flatbeds and dry vans
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Integrity and a solid work ethic
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with an appointment system
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift, push, or pull 50 lbs safely
- Repetitive use of hands; bending, stooping, kneeling
- Ability to work in hot, cold, or dusty environments
- Work effectively in a fast‑paced setting
- Comfortable working 8- or 12-hour shifts
