IT Project Manager Opportunity Summary

As an IT Project Manager at W.W. Williams, you will be responsible for understanding the business, assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that provides maximum return in investment, and managing IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy. The IT Project Manager will manage IT Projects, working with stakeholders to define project scope and requirements, and to increase the value realized for IT Projects.

Job Duties:

  • Manage projects following established methodologies to ensure quality delivery within defined schedule and budget.
  • Ensure that the functional requirements are fully met by the solution.
  • Support IT communication to the business to provide visibility, awareness, and status of IT efforts.
  • Assist organization with project planning and management to promote a consistent project experience across the business.
  • Develop technology strategies for stakeholders that align within the overall business strategy.
  • Look for opportunities to leverage technology to achieve business unit objectives.
  • Prepare cost benefit analyses for projects and assist business leadership in prioritizing projects.
  • Work with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize requirements.
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  • Develop and manage the relationship between IT and internal and external partners (business units, service providers).
  • Ensure the business units understand technology solutions and overall solution delivery.
  • Identify and leverage IT synergy potentials across business units.
  • Follow up and supervise the selection of appropriate technology solutions.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex business requirements to the technology teams.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  • Our ideal candidate would hold a bachelors degrees from a four-year college or university.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
