Production Technician at Precision Science Inc – Phoenix, Arizona

A Production Technician involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth, efficient, and quality production. This position is full Time with occasional overtime.
Two Shifts:
1st Shift 4 Day - 10 hour shift starting 5:30am - 4pm M-Thurs
2nd Shift 4 Day - 10 hour shift starting 3:30pm-2am M-Thurs

KEY DUTIES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Label, fill and package products

* Basic system cleaning

* Complete initial sign off on packaging records and other production forms

* Maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process

* Assist in set-up and maintenance of line equipment

* Report end of shift production activity

* Monitor the process and inform supervisors of any issues

* Ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and quality standards are
met

* Functions as a team member within the department and organization

* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Two (2) years of manufacturing, warehouse or production experience is required.

* High School diploma or GED preferred

ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:

* Math Skills

* Read/write English.

* Operate various tools.

* Ability to work in a team environment & be cross trained in packaging, mixing &
blending various materials.

* Work Hired shift: 1st shift 5:30am-4pm OR 2nd shift 3:30pm-2am M-Thurs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

* May be required to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lbs independently.

* May be required to work at one or both locations during assigned shift.
*Hand dexterity and strength.
*Overtime may be required, including Fridays or Saturdays.

* May be required to work a flexible schedule.

* Work in all seasons within a dusty environment non A/C environment.

* No allergies to raw materials such as ie... wheat, soy, alfalfa, antibiotics or peanut
butter.
