The Opportunity
We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Global Director of Supply Management – Airfreight to lead and shape our global airfreight supplier strategy across a highly secure logistics network.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing global airfreight sourcing strategies, building strong partnerships with airlines and freight providers, and ensuring the secure, reliable, and cost-effective movement of high-value cargo worldwide.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Lead the global airfreight supply strategy, ensuring the best solutions across key lanes worldwide
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with airlines, freight forwarders, and aviation service providers
- Negotiate commercial agreements and drive cost optimization while maintaining the highest security standards
- Monitor airfreight market trends, pricing, and capacity to support data-driven decisions
- Partner with Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant logistics operations
- Support innovation initiatives including charter solutions, digital platforms, and AI-driven routing tools
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years’ experience in logistics, with strong expertise in airfreight procurement and supplier management
- Proven success negotiating with international airlines and freight providers
- Strategic mindset with the ability to influence across global, matrixed organizations
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship management skills
- Passion for operational excellence, security, and continuous improvement
