About the Role
The Supervisor – Housekeeping plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the resort, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. This position oversees housekeeping staff, coordinates daily cleaning schedules, and ensures all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
The Supervisor is responsible for training new team members, conducting inspections, and addressing issues in a timely manner. By fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork, this role enhances staff morale and productivity. The ultimate goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere that drives guest satisfaction and repeat visits.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in hospitality management or a related field
- Experience with inventory management and scheduling software
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality standards
- Train and mentor staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order as needed
- Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally
