This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead and elevate a high-profile national fundraising initiative while driving corporate engagement and program growth. The Director, NKF Golf Classic will oversee strategy, execution, and management of the Golf Classic program, including the National Finals event and additional corporate campaigns. This position blends strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and operational excellence, providing opportunities to enhance participant experiences, expand revenue streams, and support field teams in program implementation. The role requires collaboration across national and local teams, strong leadership skills, and a customer-focused mindset. Success in this position will be measured by program growth, sponsorship engagement, and high-quality event execution. Remote work is supported, but occasional travel and flexible scheduling will be required to support key events.
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of the Golf Classic program and associated corporate campaigns
- Manage all aspects of the National Finals event, including site selection, contracts, registration, sponsorship deliverables, competition, on-site fundraising, and overall participant experience
- Develop and implement participant growth strategies, recruitment plans, and committee initiatives to increase revenue and engagement
- Collaborate with field and national teams to ensure consistent delivery, customer service, and stakeholder communication
- Analyze internal and external data to identify corporate leads and new business opportunities
- Oversee program operations for additional initiatives, including Drive for Dialysis, and support adaptation to changing landscapes
- Provide consultative guidance and support to staff and leadership on fundraising, event management, and corporate engagement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of experience in fundraising, golf events, or non-profit program management
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives effectively
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating a customer service mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience preferred
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and team-building abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for events
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in managing sensitive information
