At The Walker School, we are looking for a Head Volleyball Coach who is passionate about developing student athletes as competitors, teammates, and leaders. As Head Volleyball Coach, you will lead and grow a competitive volleyball program while fostering a culture where student athletes feel seen, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. You will:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive volleyball program focused on skill development and team success
• Plan and lead engaging, purposeful practices and game strategies
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture rooted in sportsmanship and accountability
• Provide individualized feedback and mentorship to student athletes
• Recruit and develop talent aligned with Walker’s mission and values
• Collaborate with coaches, faculty, and staff to support the whole student experience
• Represent Walker with professionalism at games, tournaments, and events
• Stay current with modern coaching strategies and best practices

We are looking for a coach who is both a teacher of the game and a builder of people.

• Proven experience coaching volleyball at the high school, college, or club level
• Strong knowledge of volleyball strategy, training methods, and player development
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and lead student athletes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive team environment
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Reports to: Athletic Director
• Employment Status: Part-Time, Contracted
• Classification: Exempt
