At PDS Optical, we don't just provide eyewear - we provide care, respect, and service to our Veterans. We're looking for a Travel Optician! In this role, you will be based out of the Washington, DC VA. Travel would be anywhere in the United States and US Territories. Anticipated travel time would be 80%+.

• The Typical schedule is Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate service to our Veterans
• Fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear with precision
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience every visit
• Collaborate with a supportive optical team
• Maintain compliance with VA security and background requirements

What We’re Looking For

• ABO Preferred or must be attained within two years of hire
• Self-motivated
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with lensometers, pupilometers, and optical software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and service-driven
• Knowledge of VA optical benefits (preferred, not required)
