Floater Cashier-DSP/PT at Sunrise Enterprises of Roseburg, Inc – Roseburg, Oregon

Position acts as Direct Support Professional in the Retail division for Sunrise Enterprises of Roseburg, Inc., a private non-profit Corporation that provides employment and community inclusion services for adults with disabilities. This position is responsible for and oversees all Cashier tasks, bank deposits, money counts, and cash control. This position is responsible for assisting in the training, supervision, and motivation of trainees to work at or above their established productivity level and assist them in achieving their highest potential. This position is responsible for the safety of trainees, ensuring their work meets our quality standards, and maintaining all required records and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for assisting retail operations at assigned store, (Sutherlin, Roseburg, Winston or Myrtle Creek) and will also participate in processing functions when needed.

• At least four months’ experience in retail/cashiering position.
• High school diploma or GED or acceptable combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and maintain a good attendance record.
• Ability to travel to assigned locations.
• Must be able to follow directions and work both independently and in groups.
• Proven, stable employment history.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Pass criminal history check. (May include fingerprinting.)
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must have ability and desire to relate to persons with physical/mental disabilities with dignity and respect
