This role is a senior leadership position responsible for managing major client relationships and shaping the long-term strategic direction of integrated marketing programs. The Account Director oversees financial performance, ensures high-quality deliverables, and guides cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. This position requires a consultative, strategic mindset, combining client advocacy with operational oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, mentors high-performing teams, and identifies opportunities for growth within client portfolios. You will engage with senior executives, present strategic recommendations, and ensure alignment across all disciplines, from media and creative to digital and content. Lead strategic planning and relationship management for major client portfolios.
Manage forecasting, budget oversight, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and scope development.
Partner with New Business teams on proposals, RFPs, and proformas.
Present insights and strategic recommendations confidently to clients and industry audiences.
Mentor and develop Account Supervisors, Managers, and Coordinators.
Ensure cross-functional alignment across Media, Creative, Content, Project Management, and Digital teams.
Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing client portfolios.
Maintain high-quality standards across all client deliverables.
Requirements:
7–10+ years of account leadership experience in an agency or client services environment.
Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts or client portfolios.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and strategic-thinking capabilities.
Demonstrated leadership and team mentorship experience.
Deep understanding of integrated marketing strategy, including media, creative, digital, and content.
Exceptional communication skills and executive presence for senior-level client interactions.
Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
