Reporting to the Senior Manager, Distribution, the Office Administrator. This role manages end-to-end shipping, receiving, and inventory operations by coordinating logistics, maintaining ERP accuracy, and performing quality audits while serving as a primary liaison for internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure a safe, organized warehouse environment.
This position will require a reliable commute to the office (20 High Plains TrailRocky View County, AB T4A 3M6) Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire shipping and receiving process, from scheduling inbound/outbound loads with carriers and internal teams to arranging LTL and courier dispatches.
- Manage the creation of RPO & consumption for manufacturing
- Ensure all shipments are verified against documentation and safely moved to their designated storage areas.
- Manage inventory within the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Perform inspection audits on all incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they are free of defects or damage, and you'll coordinate activities for any missing or defective products.
- Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries from various internal departments, including Client Services and Sales.
- Work with management and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, and late or incorrect deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Provide administrative support to supervisor(s) and manage the ordering of warehouse supplies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior(s).
Qualifications
- Minimum post-secondary degree or equivalent (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of experience working in providing customer services over the phone.
- Previous inventory experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in data management and Microsoft Excel. Comfortable using computer software and database systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
