This role is responsible for leading and scaling Google Ads campaigns to drive high-quality B2B lead generation, including demo requests and direct sign-ups. The Senior Search Media Buyer will manage end-to-end paid search programs, optimizing performance, testing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize ROI. Success in this position requires a hands-on, data-driven approach, deep expertise in search advertising, and the ability to translate performance insights into actionable strategies. - Own and manage all Google Ads campaigns (Search, Performance Max, and supporting formats) to drive qualified B2B leads
- Execute daily optimizations, including bidding strategies, budget allocation, keyword expansion, query mining, and negative keyword management
- Test and iterate on ad copy, landing pages, and conversion flows to improve CVR and CPL
- Develop full-funnel search strategies to capture high-intent demand and incremental opportunities
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and uncover growth opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and product teams to align messaging with target personas and ensure accurate tracking and reporting
- Scale campaigns efficiently while maintaining performance targets (CPA, ROAS, pipeline contribution)
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns with measurable results
- Deep knowledge of search campaign structures, bidding strategies, and optimization techniques
- Proven track record of B2B lead generation through demo-driven or self-serve sign-up campaigns
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience managing and scaling substantial ad budgets with efficiency constraints
- Comfort operating independently as a senior individual contributor, owning both strategy and execution
- Proficiency with conversion tracking, attribution models, and performance reporting
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
- Familiarity with ad tech, martech, or performance marketing environments is a plus
- Experience with CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot) and funnel optimization is desirable
