At Abbotsford Nissan, our Business Development Coordinator (BDC) is the engine behind our customer experience and sales success. Every call, text, and online inquiry is an opportunity to create a great first impression—and that starts with the right people.

We are looking for a driven, organized, and customer-focused BDC Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of timely, professional communication. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping guide them from their initial inquiry through to a confirmed appointment. If you are someone who enjoys engaging with people, staying organized, and being part of a high-performing team, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career in the automotive industry.

Role Summary:

The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) is responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer communications, nurturing leads, and scheduling sales and service appointments. This role serves as the first point of contact for many customers, ensuring prompt, professional, and friendly interactions that build trust and encourage loyalty. The Coordinator works closely with the Sales and/or Service teams to maximize opportunities and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to inbound internet, phone, and social media inquiries.
  • Make outbound calls, emails, and texts to follow up on leads, service reminders, and promotional campaigns.
  • Qualify prospects, gather information, and schedule appointments for Sales and Service departments.
  • Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM system and ensure all interactions are logged.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Service teams to coordinate customer follow-ups and support dealership promotions.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives such as email campaigns and event outreach.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and timely communication to every customer.
  • Monitor and report on lead activity, conversion rates, and appointment show rates.
  • Contribute to creating a positive dealership reputation through excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or Communications is an asset.
  • Previous customer service, call center, or dealership BDC experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

At Abbotsford Nissan, success in the BDC comes down to consistency, communication, and accountability. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, follows through, and understands the impact they have on the entire dealership.

If you’re ready to be part of a team that values performance, professionalism, and a strong customer experience, we want to hear from you.
