Industrial Maintenance Technician at Cutting Edge Countertops – Perrysburg, Ohio

We’re a fast-paced countertop fabrication shop looking for a skilled 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy troubleshooting, preventing downtime, and working hands-on with industrial machines, we want to meet you.
Schedule

• 2nd Shift: (example) Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• (Some overtime may be available/required depending on workload)

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment used in countertop fabrication
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on saws, CNC machines, polishers, routers, compressors, dust collection systems, etc.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Reduce downtime through fast, accurate troubleshooting and root-cause fixes
• Maintain safe work practices and follow lockout/tagout procedures
• Track repairs, parts usage, and maintenance logs
• Work closely with production leadership to prioritize equipment needs
• What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred)
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, relays, VFD basics, wiring, etc.)
• Comfortable using hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
• Reliable attendance and strong safety mindset

Preferred:

• Experience with CNC machinery or stone/countertop equipment
• Welding (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication skills
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Experience with dust collection systems and air compressors
• Forklift or lift certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work around loud equipment, dust collection systems, and moving machinery
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
