Job Summary
DSI Technology Solutions is seeking a Regional Operations Manager – Technology Solutions to be based out of Dothan, AL. This leadership role is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and performance of regional field operations supporting DSI's technology solutions, including installation, service, programming, training, and ongoing support.
This position provides strategic and hands-on leadership for technicians, installers, integrators, and subcontractors while ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Regional Operations Manager serves as a key technical and operational leader, driving productivity, quality, and continuous improvement across all technology-focused field operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Operations Leadership
  • Organize, direct, and oversee all regional field operations related to technology solutions
  • Lead, develop, and mentor technicians, installers, and subcontractors
  • Manage regional staffing levels, technician schedules, and workload distribution
  • Drive accountability through progress reporting, performance metrics, and quality audits
  • Forecast installation and service capacity to meet regional client demands
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience installing and programming enterprise-level electronic security systems
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial low-voltage installations
  • Experience managing field operations, technicians, or subcontractors in a leadership capacity
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude related to electronic security systems
  • Experience with new construction low-voltage projects
  • Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, schematics, and construction blueprints
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership ability with a hands-on, detail-oriented management approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Functional knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Working knowledge of IP networking (firewalls, routers, switches, servers, Wi-Fi, subnetting); certification a plus
Position Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical certifications preferred)
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and communication
  • Ability to perform essential physical functions including standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and stooping
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong service orientation
  • Ability to pass required criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings
