Job Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Requires thorough comprehension in reading, interpreting engineering drawing repair manuals, and related technical data, and a thorough knowledge of and skill in the use of tools and techniques of rework and repair.
• Must be capable of training, teaching, and mentoring junior-level machinists to ensure proficiency.
• Inspect and correct work done by other machinists.
• Requires knowledge and probable effects of various loads and stresses applied to structures, such as compression, tensile, and shear, and the ability to recognize an overloaded or overstressed condition.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Machinist I.
• A background in commercial or military aircraft manufacturing/repair/installation is preferred.
