Brief DescriptionThe Associate Director of Partner Strategy provides day-to-day people leadership and executional oversight for TENx10’s Partnership Strategy team. This role is responsible for translating partnership strategy into coordinated action, ensuring consistent follow-through, and supporting team clarity, health, and performance.
Reporting to the Director of Partner Strategy, the Associate Director leads daily operations and people rhythms while reinforcing strategic direction, priorities, and values. This role blends organizational leadership with relational awareness to ensure strategy is faithfully implemented and sustained. The Associate Director will also play a key role in the development of training and transformation initiatives for partners.
Essential FunctionsExecution & Enablement- Translate partnership strategy and priorities into clear plans, timelines, and workflows.
- Ensure partnership initiatives are implemented effectively across all key partner types.
- Track progress on key initiatives, identify risks or blockers, and ensure timely follow-through.
- Coordinate across Specialist, Coordinator, Administrator, and Special Project team members to ensure alignment and momentum.
- Development of training and transformation initiatives for partners.
- Provide day-to-day management for Partnerships team members, including regular 1:1s, workload management, and accountability.
- Support team clarity, performance, and well-being through consistent leadership and communication.
- Foster a collaborative and healthy team culture aligned with TENx10’s mission and values.
- Address operational challenges and partner with the Director of Partner Strategy to develop personnel, enhance team performance, and optimize efficiency.
- Partner closely with the Director of Partner Strategy to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
- Reinforce vision, priorities, and leadership direction in daily team operations.
- Provide continuity and operational leadership during periods of travel or external engagement by the Director of Partner Strategy and other leadership.
- Utilize professional and ministry-related acumen to design systematic pathways for training leaders and influencing change within the broader faith community ecosystem.
- Oversee workflows, scheduling, and coordination across the Partnerships function.
- Partner with the administrator to ensure effective operational and leadership support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing and Communications (MarComm), Resources, Operations) to support integrated execution.
- Represent the Partnerships function internally with clarity and professionalism.
- Support partner gatherings, events, and initiatives as needed, particularly where operational leadership or follow-through is required.
- Present key SOPs and goals to internal stakeholders.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in people leadership, systems, processes, or project leadership.
- A notable understanding of ministry leadership and the broader youth ministry landscape.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing complexity.
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to lead with both clarity and care.
- Experience translating strategy into executable plans.
- Experience in ministry, nonprofit, or partnership-driven environments required.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools preferred.
- Must be willing to abide by Fuller Community Standards
- This position is is available for remote work within the United States subject to payroll state tax approval by Fuller Theological Seminary.
- Salary the seminary is willing to pay: $66,000 - $74,000 USD annually
