Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a pivotal leader at Mitchell Construction, driving the financial and operational success of diverse building projects. This role empowers you to manage high-stakes budgets and timelines while acting as the primary face of a rapidly growing, stable company. You will have the autonomy to direct field operations and the support of an owner dedicated to your professional development.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Develop and execute precise project budgets and schedules to maintain peak profitability.
  • Coordinate labor, subcontractors, and materials to ensure seamless workflow and project continuity.
  • Lead client communications and manage project documentation to deliver a 5-star customer experience.
  • Monitor gross profit targets and manage change orders to protect the companys financial health.
  • Direct Site Supervisors and conduct regular field updates to maintain strict quality standards.
  • Utilize project management software to track real-time progress and obtain written client approvals.
  • Model company values and promote the brand through professional conduct and jobsite excellence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage complex project budgets, schedules, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in reading construction contracts, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in both residential and commercial general construction environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in construction management software and digital documentation tools.
  • History of achieving high-level client satisfaction ratings and successful punch-list completions.
