POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position is responsible for counting all currency, counting all chips and tokens, and recording receipts from all areas.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides superior guest service, positively effects interactions with external and internal guests and team members.
2. Removes drop boxes from carts and assembles boxes in numerical order to determine if all boxes have been delivered and accounted for.
3. Cash handling.
4. Identify counterfeit bills.
5. Counts all chips and tokens and records by denominations.
6. Performs the following machine operator duties as assigned: accumulates cash for entry; enters currency into the currency counter for count verification; straps counted currency.
7. Accurately completes, signs and dates all paperwork.
8. All other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This position is extremely physical in nature, and requires such physical abilities including but not limited to:

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members
• Ability to identify different denominations of gaming chips, and currency.
• Ability to retrieve full and empty drop boxes, which involves bending, balancing and twisting.
• Ability to move coin bags weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain standing for majority of shift and to move around count room in an efficient manner.
