This role provides an opportunity to lead and coordinate large-scale, multi-site research and evaluation projects in a dynamic, federally funded environment. The Research Coordinator will manage day-to-day project operations, oversee participant recruitment and data collection, and ensure compliance with IRB and federal regulations. You will collaborate with project managers, evaluation teams, and external partners to support timely and accurate delivery of research activities. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication across multiple stakeholders. You will also contribute to reporting, presentations, and dissemination of evaluation findings. This position offers a mix of independent project management and collaborative problem-solving, enabling measurable impact on public health initiatives.

Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate all phases of cross-site evaluation projects, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage participant recruitment, engagement, and informed consent processes in compliance with IRB and human subjects protection standards
  • Schedule and support qualitative and mixed-methods data collection activities, including interviews, focus groups, and surveys
  • Maintain organized project management systems to track progress, deliverables, and multi-site timelines
  • Support development, submission, and tracking of IRB materials, protocol amendments, and regulatory documentation
  • Collaborate with evaluation and analytic teams to implement data collection protocols and ensure accurate, secure data management
  • Assist in preparation of reports, presentations, and dissemination materials for leadership and stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication across multi-site partners and provide operational support to project leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Epidemiology, Behavioral Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in research coordination, program evaluation, or public health program support
  • Experience managing participant recruitment, screening, and informed consent processes in multi-site evaluations
  • Familiarity with federal or CDC-funded programs, opioid prevention, or harm reduction initiatives is a plus
  • Strong organizational, project management, and data management skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite and electronic data systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, and ability to travel 5–10%
