Housekeepers - Join our fantastic team at Empire Hotels – Valdosta, Georgia

• Undergo training and sign the company’s contract

• Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out

• Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service

• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift

• Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift

• Collect and remove trash and debris

Report, turn in and log all lost and found items

• Clean upholstered furniture

• Perform detailed deep cleans when required

A successful Housekeeper will have a heightened level of awareness and attention to detail. This skill is important so they can clean hidden places that hold dust and dirt. The job also requires a certain level of physical strength, so the ideal candidate will be fit enough to walk and bend for extended periods. They may also have to lift heavy items and use the staircase multiple times during shifts. An experienced Housekeeper is adept at time management because they must quickly prepare rooms before guests check in. Another attribute of a great Housekeeper is uniformity. They can recreate the same settings with little or no supervision.
