We're actively recruiting for a dependable candidate to fill our Part-Time Accounts Payable opening. This position is open to entry-level and experienced candidates.
100% On-Site in Glen Allen, Virginia
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (flexible schedole at 29 hours per week)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accurately and promptly process employee payable transactions (travel expenses, meals, payroll, etc.)
- Assist the Payroll Accountant and Accounts Payable Accountant with day-to-day accounting needs such as reporting and postings
- Serve as backup for the Accounts Payable Fiscal Technician
- Perform other accounts payable functions and financial transactions
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Stong attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office Products
- Familiar with MS Office products and able to learn new software
- Previous experience in a banking or cash handling position (including retail)
- Problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous experience supporting payroll and/or accounts payable
- Completion of Associates degree or higher
