Part Time Armed Security Officer at Grey Dog Security LLC – Kalamazoo, Michigan

We are seeking part-time armed security guards in Lawrence, MI. Applicants must be open to working weekends and variable shift times, and be ready to provide security services at a range of public events.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol Duties: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security breaches.
• Access Control: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of the premises.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to identify potential threats or unusual behavior.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms and disturbances; assess situations, provide assistance, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting any irregularities, safety concerns, or security breaches.
• Emergency Assistance: Provide first aid or CPR when necessary and assist in emergency evacuations or other critical situations.
• Weapon Maintenance: Ensure that all assigned protective equipment, including firearms, are maintained in excellent working condition and used responsibly.
