About This Position
Job Title: Associate Program Specialist
Reports To: Program Manager
Hourly Range: $20 to $25 per hour (Based 35/hrs per week)
Location: Raleigh, NC (In-person)

Function:
This position will report directly to the Program Manager and work independently, performing a wide range of complex confidential administrative and work related support duties.
Qualifications:
• Completed an associate or bachelor's degree in liberal arts, education, business administration, community development w/ 3 years min work experience.
• In lieu of degree, min of 5 years’ work experience in community development w/ 3 years min. on same job.
• Must have a Microsoft Office Specialist Associate Certificate
• Active driver’s license, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
• Understand CTA’s mission and related works.
• Assist Program Manager with completing program-related activities, organizing, and assisting with distributing program resources.
• Assist with scope of work review, modification, and application to related works.
• Track and report project(s) progress and completion for submission.
• Conduct research methods necessary to investigate best practices, integrate findings, and present outcomes.
• Oversee photo documentation, video recordings, and media production using various recording devices and drone technology.
• Develop, organize, and manage CTA’s worked related progress and outcomes for social media platforms, quarterly newsletters, and website.
Preferred Experience:
• Proficiency with practical usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Canva.
• Proficiency within a Mac Operating System.
• Proficiency with online video conferencing platforms (Zoom & Microsoft Team’s).
Skills Required:
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively orally, written, and in a team setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong multi-tasking skills over various work projects.
• Preferred but not required, Bi-lingual (Spanish) speaking and writing.
Trainings Required:
• Must successfully complete within three (3) months of hiring Microsoft Office Specialist Expert latest certification.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods to time throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to bend and stoop.
