Job Description
The Pickleball Teaching Professional is responsible for providing lessons and clinics with exceptional customer service. They will also help organize events and provide input for programming while ensuring an outstanding racquets experience for members and guests. This is a part-time position with a future opportunity of becoming a full-time position based on demand and performance. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
• Provide high-quality lessons for players of all ages and skill levels, including private, semi-private, and group lessons.
• Teach clinics and camps and help with social events to promote racquets at the club.
• Maintain a professional, energetic and positive attitude while representing the club.
• Maintain high-quality standards for court conditions and facility operations.
• Provide personalized service to members, addressing their needs and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
• Provide coverage in the club Pro Shop as scheduled.
• Regularly gather feedback from members and employees to identify opportunities for improvement in programming and service.
• Enforce policies and procedures for racquet sports.
• Attend weekly athletic staff meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
● Certified pickleball coach with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
● Existing eligibility to work in the US.
● Teaching skills to coach all levels and ages of players and create appropriate programming and offerings for the players.
● Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, etiquette, and industry trends.
● Passionate about pickleball and growing the sport in the community.
● Ability and skills to teach other racquet sports including but not limited to padel, squash and tennis is a plus.
● Excellent communication and customer service skills.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clients and create programming.
● Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events.
● Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy living.
● Excellent organizational and communication skills
● CPR/AED certified.
