About the role
- The Restoration Technician 1 (RT1) performs skilled labor for water mitigation, environmental remediation, and restoration. The RT1 reports directly to the Project Manager and Administrative Sales Assistant.
- Essential Functions of the Restoration Technician position includes but is not limited to:
- Performs environmental remediation, water mitigation and restoration of building materials.
- Must follow company policies and procedures
- Inspects properties. Schedules or administers appropriate testing per protocols. Identifies moisture issues which may contribute to indoor fungal growth.
- Follow written project scopes and identify the need for scope changes and communicate needed scope changes to management.
- Document work via notes, photographs, and videos in smart phone application
- Cleary communicate verbally and in writing to managers.
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation to the office.
- Must have a clean driving record, operate and maintain company vehicles, be able to be insured with the company’s auto insurance company.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively.
- Operate and maintain water mitigation equipment.
- Operate and maintain environmental remediation equipment.
- Ability to remove building materials including but not limited to drywall, cabinets, carpeting and framing materials.
- Must be able to document work performed with cell phone, camera, or iPad.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment per OSHA guidelines and be clean shaven each workday.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record and be able to travel in company provided vehicles.
- Must have and maintain a clean background check.
- Must be able to use mobile phone applications for project documentation.
- Must be able to travel no more than 25% of the time as required.
The pay range for this role is:
15 - 25 USD per hour(Florida)
