Job Summary
The candidate in this position is responsible for coordinating activities to move product throughout the warehouse and within the company’s computer software systems. The Material Handler is also responsible for ensuring that accuracy, quality, and efficiency is achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks in staging areas as required, weigh LTL shipments, and stage large orders
- Stage raw material for production and ensure continuous replenishment
- Ensure all inventory movement is accurately recorded in company system
- Organize stock bins and replenish shelves to ensure accuracy and efficiency for order pickers
- Assist order pickers by putting away large items received and pulling stock down from upper racking
- Maintain fork trucks, pallet jackets, or industrial trucks, including conducting and recording daily inspection
- Follow all company policies, complete all safety training required, report any unsafe work practices and concerns
- Assist team members with projects or tasks assigned by manager
Education & Experience:
- In possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 2-5 years’ experience driving a forklift (preferred)
- Experience in packaging and shipping, and using weight tools and equipment (preferred)

Safety Requirements:
- Employee will be required to wear the provided PPE per the role requirements
- Follow site safety and any department specific protocols
- Report safety hazards or potential safety hazards to reporting Supervisor
- Attend company safety meetings
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs often
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to walk the warehouse floor on a regular basis
- Own ASTM-approved steel-toed shoes to be worn at all times
