Job Description
We’re looking for Floor Care Technicians who take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you’ll be responsible for floor and carpet maintenance throughout the hospital, including mopping, buffing, waxing, and inspections. You’ll also help move furniture and supplies as needed while upholding high standards for cleanliness and safety. Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain hospital floors and carpets

Operate floor machines for cleaning, buffing, and waxing

Move furniture, equipment, and supplies during floor care

Inspect surfaces for wear, damage, or cleanliness issues

Follow safety procedures and infection control guidelines

Assist with other maintenance or cleaning duties as needed
Collaborative Teamwork
This role involves working closely with our environmental services team to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming hospital environment that supports health and healing.
Qualifications

Ability to read and write English and follow written and verbal instructions

Experience in floor care, janitorial work, or facility maintenance preferred

Knowledge of institutional cleaning and infection control standards
