Maintenance Rebuild Technician at AGRATI-TIFFIN LLC – Tiffin, Ohio

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoots, repairs and rebuilds mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical systems on all types of forming equipment

2. Rebuilds transfers, feed clutches, ram slides, scraping and fitting keys for gears/shafts, conveyors, pumps and washers.

3. Ability to fit and machine material

4. Installs and sets-up new equipment as needed

5. Performs basic welding and fabrication duties

6. Maintain and support safety, environmental, and health policies & procedures, such as Hazardous Waste.

7. Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions.

8. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written instructions.

May be used for any assignments:

1. Operation of lathe, mill, grinders, or presses

2. Travel to other locations (Medina, OH) as needed

3. Operation of mobile equipment

4. Training other employees

5. Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

1. Able to lift 85 lbs.

2. Able to reach above shoulder, bend and stoop.

3. Able to wear personal protective equipment in areas where applicable and/or dictated by task.

4. Able to use mobile equipment.

5. Able to stand for entire shift if required.

12. Understands how to access electronic information, including work instructions and procedures.

13. Participates in team environment and completes assignments for various functions including (but not limited to) EHS and continuous improvement.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of various metals and their properties. Possess strong mechanical aptitude

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee occasionally required to walk, reach with hand and arms.

The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10-25 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 26-50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 85 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
