Our Landscaping & Grounds positions are responsible for all aspects of park beautification including weeding, mulching, planting, monitoring, and maintaining plant health. This position will also assist in other areas such as park construction and cleanliness.
Our park will be open year-round so we have positions that will fit your needs! Whether you are looking for a new career, extra hours, change of pace, or summer job we have something for you!

Requirements:- Assists in the repair, maintenance and remodeling of plumbing and pipefitting systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Assists in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic lighting, data communication, security, control, street lighting and related systems.
- Performs rough and finish carpentry and assists in installing ceiling and flooring materials.
- Performs painting of interior and exterior building surfaces including prep work.
- Mows, trims, edges, fertilizes, and waters landscaped areas. Weeds, prunes, mulches, fertilizes, and sprays trees, plants, and shrubbery. Prepares soil for planting; seeds and re-sods lawn areas; plants trees, seedlings, and shrubs.
- Assists in maintaining Snow Operations at sister location.
- Installs, repairs, and maintains irrigation systems.
- Inspects assigned areas; corrects or reports safety hazards; cleans and maintains park grounds, restrooms, paved areas, and paths and all other common areas.
- Performs snow removal and salting of facilities and access ways.
- Operates and maintains a variety of hand and power tools.
- Operate and maintain power and motorized equipment related to responsibilities of the position.
- Always practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, safe lifting practices and reporting of unsafe situations.
- Properly complete safety/inspection paperwork as required by Management.
- Carries out assignments in a non-disruptive manner in areas receiving heavy public use.
- Maintains basic records of work performed.
- Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit's service to its customers by offering suggestions and participating as an active member of a team.
- Understand and inventory all tools and parts needed to maintain grounds and buildings.
- Keep work areas, equipment, and guest areas clean and orderly.
- Notify Supervisors and park Management of any safety issues within the park.
- Work varying hours and at different areas when needed.
- Follow all safety standards to include reporting any violation of standards.
