The Facilities Management Department is looking to hire a Store Keeper IV to work in the Mail Room. The Store Keeper IV will assist with sorting, distributing and collecting mail throughout the college campus. The Store Keeeper IV will weigh and scan packages and operate the postage machines.
- Sorts mail as directed for college-wide distribution; distributes and collects mail.
- Weighs mail to determine postage.
- Operates postage machine and folder/inserter.
- Maintains all aspects of the C Mail-room.
- Scans items as received to notify addressee.
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in office work or in work in which the processing of incoming and/or outgoing mail (for example, delivering, sorting, weighing, metering, etc.) was a major duty.
- Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operator's License required.
- Ability to unload trucks and work independently.
- Knowledge of UPS/Fed EX shipping requirements and of the United States Postal Service (USPS).
- Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
Additional Information:
Salary: $2,110.33 bi-weekly/ $54,868.58 annual. Grade 15 AFSCME. Full Time Benefited Position.
