Primary Care/Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC)

As a GiaMed JV employee, you can expect:

• A structured environment
• Low patient ratios
• A team that consists of LVN’s and Techs to work with
• No On-Call
• 7:30-16:30 daily with a shift of 09:30-18:30 on Tuesdays
  Monday - Friday (8 hour shifts)
• Please note clinic locations vary and can be assigned at Westover Hills, BAMC,Jennifer Moreno, Schertz, and Campbullis locations

Responsibilities

Full Time: Primary Care RN:

As a GiaMed employee, your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit. Duties can include but are not limited to the following: team lead, precept, orientate, rapid response, and other tasks as needed.

This location, on Fort Sam Houston, is an outpatient Primary Care Clinic providing the highest level of care to active-duty military, veterans, and their beneficiaries.

• Pharmacy & refills
• Labs & Imaging

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Valid Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from an American Heart Association Program
• 1 year of outpatient clinic experience or 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience as a Registered Nurse within the last 4 years
