Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center is the South Metro area’s full-service medical center, with the friendly feel of a community hospital and the skill and services of a much larger medical center. Among our specialties: stroke, chest pain, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, cancer care and orthopedic and total joint surgery. Plus, a birth center and breast health center.



Responsibilities

Coordinates area functions to allow services to be delivered expediently and efficiently through effective organization of staff and workflow. Maintains knowledge of department procedures in order to provide assistance throughout the patient care continuum. Performs imaging procedures according to physician's orders and screening protocols, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient care. Proficient in the fields of General Radiology and Mammography. Assures compliance with MQSA standards.



Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of a certified Radiologic Technology school or program.

Experience:

  • At least three years’ experience in General Radiology and Mammography.
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Supervisory course work and working knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles preferred.
  • Medical terminology and computer experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of MQSA requirements.
