Machine Operator - Tapping at AGRATI-MEDINA LLC – Medina, Ohio

We are looking for a skilled machine operator for our Tapping Department. Previous machine operation experience is preferred. Additionally, the candidate must be mechanically inclined.

General Statement of Responsibilities

Performs general production duties in a J.I.T. manufacturing system, e.g. – Employee Involvement, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, Housekeeping, Elimination of Waste, Communication, Coordination, etc. that meets production and customer requirements.

General Performance Expectations

· Operates Snow, Kaufman, Mass and Streicher Tapping Equipment, vision sorting and cell equipment.

· Operates measurement and test equipment required to ensure that quality requirements are met.

· Records statistical process control data, quality, safety, and preventative maintenance information

· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

· Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions.

· Housekeeping.

· Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written instructions.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

May be used for any assignments:

· Performing tap changes.

· Training other employees.

· Troubleshooting on any operations.

· Operation of mobile equipment

· Minor periodic maintenance and lubrication

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent. Good mechanical aptitude.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hand and arms. Employees are required to climb, stoop, or kneel.
