Medical Physicist Intern

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become proficient in the field of radiation medical physics while being paid to learn. The position will require 1-2 years of training under a board certified Chief Physicist, followed by 2 years of Physics Residency program, with a goal of achieving full board certification within 5 years.

Full time, onsite 40 hour work week. Possbily some after hours or weekends.

Qualifications:

- MS or PhD in physics or related field

- Minimum of 2 years experience in the field of physics is preferred.

- Some knowledge of radiation, radioactive materials, radiation safety, and radiation producing devices as well as some knowledge and understanding of radiation safety regulations and guidelines.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as computer proficiency are essential, as well as a strong commitment to the highest clinical standards.

- Capable of learning and working in a collaborative team environment.
