You will play a vital role in the foundational success of our pipeline projects by operating heavy machinery with precision and care. • Operate backdump and compactor equipment to move, level, and compact earth for pipeline installation.

• Perform daily pre-operation inspections to ensure all machinery is in peak working condition.

• Execute precise grading and compaction tasks in accordance with project blueprints and site specifications.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards and facilitate smooth site logistics.

• Communicate effectively with spotters and ground crews to ensure safe equipment movement in tight areas.

• Monitor equipment performance and report any maintenance needs immediately to the site foreman.

• Adhere to all OSHA and company-specific safety protocols to protect yourself and your teammates.

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience operating backdumps, compactors, or similar heavy machinery.

• Proven ability to interpret site signals and work safely in active utility construction environments.

• Physical capability to climb into equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Strong commitment to punctuality and a reliable work ethic to meet project deadlines.

• Demonstrated understanding of basic soil compaction techniques and equipment limitations.

• Previous experience specifically within utility construction or pipeline trenching projects.

• Possession of a valid drivers license for potential travel between local project sites.

• Existing OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction safety certification.
