This role provides an exciting opportunity to directly enhance the productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction of engineering teams through improved tools, automation, and workflows. As a Senior Developer Experience Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure solutions that empower teams to deliver software faster and more reliably. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, proactively identifying and removing bottlenecks, and advocating for best practices across the organization. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, developer advocacy, and hands-on engineering in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developer experience, automation, and scaling engineering processes at an enterprise level.
Architect, implement, and maintain developer tools, frameworks, and automation to streamline engineering workflows.
Lead improvements to CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable software deployments.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bottlenecks to enhance developer productivity and satisfaction.
Develop comprehensive documentation, training materials, and best practices for engineering teams.
Collect and act upon feedback from developers to continuously improve workflows and tooling.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Security, and Product teams to deliver a seamless developer experience.
Monitor and enhance the performance of development infrastructure, staying current with industry trends and innovations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in software engineering, developer tools, or developer operations.
Expert proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Deep expertise with CI/CD systems, including Jenkins, GitHub, Flux CD, or Harness.
Experience with artifact management tools, such as JFrog Artifactory, and GitHub Copilot.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for improving developer workflows and experience.
Bonus: experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), and agile/DevOps practices.
